8 pounds 6 ounces and growing....

Hi!

Just wanted to update everyone on last weeks one month doctor appointment! I am now 8 pounds and 6 ounces....this is over 2 1/2 pounds since my last visit! Mommy says it's because I'm such a good eater!....and boy do I have a temper when I'm hungry.....just like my mommy.

I am also getting to be a better sleeper at night. Last night was my personal best...I went 6 hours between feedings so that daddy and mommy could get some rest. I still sometimes wake up after three hours if I'm really hungry, but I'm starting to figure out this sleeping thing a little better, but I still hate naps! (Especially naps in my crib! But boy do I love sleeping in my car seat!) I don't do as well sleeping on the weekends because I like to spend time hanging out with mommy and daddy's friends DeWayne and Cindy. I got to celebrate New Year's Eve with them (although I slept through the ball dropping....but can you blame me I was being passed around by lots of pretty women!) The weekend after New Year's I got a visit from my Aunt Kitty Kat, Pop Pop and Nana! I looove when they come to visit!

Last weekend I got to go over to DeWayne and Cindy's and play Wii. Cindy says she did better at bowling when she held me! Speaking of playing, I've learned to enjoy playing on my playmat. Gabby gets jealous sometimes when I play on my playmat because it looks like I'm having so much fun!

I'm also looking forward to this weekend when I get to meet my Uncles Pat and Matt and Aunts Lori and Stacey. I also get to meet my cousins Nathaniel and Ben! We are planning to have friends over for a BBQ so it should be pretty fun! I'll defintely have lots of pictures to post after next weekend!

My first few weeks!

Hi Everyone!
I know I am only 3 weeks and 6 days old but I decided, with the help of my mommy, that a blog would be a great way to keep my family posted on my oh so exciting newborn life! I especially wanted to do this since we have family all across the country who don't get to see my cute little face everyday like my mommy and daddy do! I will try to keep up with the blog but obviously mommy and I are pretty busy with adjusting to my new life outside her tummy! But so far I have had a lot of fun adjusting to the great big world. I am just starting to learn the difference between day and night but still having a little trouble distinguishing between the two. My mommy and daddy call me squirrel because I often keep them awake at night with my grunts and chirps. I am growing and will be seeing the doctor on the
10th...I'm pretty sure I've gained some weight, as I no longer fit in my premie outfits. I spent Christmas in B'ham with my Nana and Pop Pop and also got a chance to see my Aunt Kat, Uncle Jim, Aunt Dean, Uncle Bill, Uncle Dwight and Aunt Gail. I got lots of love, attention and presents there! Now I am looking forward to a visit from my Uncle Matt, Aunt Stacey, Aunt Lori, Uncle Pat, and cousins Ben and Nathaniel. They are coming down on Jan 19th. I've shared some pictures from my great Christmas! Hope yours was happy too!
